GID Development was formed in 2007 to develop “best-in-class” mixed-use projects and iconic residential urban developments throughout the United States. Since its inception, GID Development has developed over $3B of residential mixed-use projects across the country. With a $4B pipeline of mixed-use projects, GID is focused on maintaining its leadership role as one of the country’s foremost build-to-core developers. GID’s projects combine high-quality design with one-of-a-kind residential, retail, restaurant, office, hotel, cultural, and public space offerings. GID’s development executives are a unique collection of experts in the fields of mixed-use development, finance, entitlements, design, construction, leasing, and marketing – creating a team that is experienced across all major property types.
In 2013, leveraging GID’s experienced design, development and construction teams, we implemented a build-to-core program with one of the world’s largest sovereign wealth funds in order to pursue the development of high-rise residential and large-scale mixed-use properties in major metropolitan markets throughout the United States. We have developed nearly $3B of sophisticated apartment and mixed use projects since inception.
A combination of visionary projects, global access to debt and equity investors, deep development expertise, and GID’s vertically integrated operating platform has positioned GID Development as one of the most active, capable, and well-capitalized development organizations in the United States.
