Boston, MA – (January 9, 2018)

GID Urban Logistics announced today the formation of a joint venture partnership with the Jackson-Shaw Company to develop Parc SouthWest, a two building light industrial property located in the Upper Great Southwest submarket of Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas.  Construction is set to commence first quarter 2018 and be completed by fourth quarter 2018.  This joint venture is the third in Dallas-Fort Worth and the sixth overall between GID and the Jackson-Shaw Company.

The property, located off Frye Road in Irving and 1.3 miles south of the DFW International Airport, will consist of two Class-A light industrial buildings totaling 292,497 square feet.  The buildings will feature front, rear, and side-load configurations, 30 to 32 foot clear heights, 170 to 190 foot building depths, and abundant car and trailer parking.

Gary Kroll, Vice President and Director of Central Region Acquisitions at GID commented, “GID is pleased to begin construction on two infill multi-tenant buildings in the centrally located Great Southwest submarket.  The two buildings, each less than 185,000 square feet, are designed to offer unique features that are currently unavailable in the submarket for tenants seeking 30,000 to 100,000 square feet.  Additionally, we are excited to expand our relationship with the Jackson-Shaw Company and GID’s industrial presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.”
